To whom ever it may concern:
For our Murals II class I would like to create a mural that can be placed in Holman Hall across from the paintings that are on display in the atrium. There is a concrete slab that stretches across above where the railing is located on the second floor. There is no work being occupied there at this time and I have considered using this space for my work. I do not plan on drilling anything into the concrete itself; I would like to make a portable mural that can hang on top of this area so it can be removed if requested. Also since there will be a new Holman Hall built after I graduate I would consider donating the piece to the new building.
This area I feel is important for my work because it not only applies to art students but others who have classes in Holman can enjoy the work as well. I feel it will be a work that can brighten the area and bring more to the community. I think it will have a nice presence for people entering the building and allow them to take a closer look. I plan on creating a self expressive piece that others could relate to as well. If there are any questions or concerns you can contact me at pugner3@tcnj.edu and I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Kim Pugner
